Hello, World! I used to take care of people's lives, now I'm bringing projects to life! I'm a software engineer based near San Francisco, CA. From being a nurse to a software engineer, this new career sparked my enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges, applying problem-solving techniques, and exercising endless creativity.
"Schools are for fools...", At least that's what I used to say. I never took my academic goals seriously. A few years ago, my whole mindset has changed. I wanted to challenge myself and started my studies in nursing. After about a year-long of attending class, clinical rotations, and late-night studying, I completed the program for Licensed Vocational Nurse with a high ranking being in the top 4 students in my class and recognized for excellence in testing and clinicals.
After gaining valuable experience in the healthcare industry for the last 6 years, I transitioned to software engineering. This new field sparked my enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges, applying problem-solving techniques, and exercising endless creativity.
I find great satisfaction in seeing something I helped develop come into existence. The gratification I receive from debugging, a skill honed from my time in App Academy, is like no other—regardless of the problem's scale or complexity. The bonds I've built during team collaboration are unforgettable. While I may not know everything, I recognize that no one does. Hence, I now live by the motto: “Every day is a learning day.”
Family: "Father of one 👨👩👧 and one on the way!🐣."
Hobbies: "Fishing 🎣, camping 🏕️, and binge watching tv shows 📺."
Goals: "Continue sharpening my skills and expanding my knowledge in programming 🤓."
